|Aladdin Resort & Casino - Planet Hollywood
||"Planet Hollywood Hotel Casino" coming in Late 2007, Currently undergoing a $1 BILLION Dollar Renovation. Features a world-class shopping experience "Desert Passage", which has raised the bar on shopping in Las Vegas. The rooms all have high-speed internet access along with cordless phones. We stayed here in the past, we really enjoyed the stay. Visit the photo gallery to view pictures of the property. We enjoyed P.F. Changs, a great China bistro located facing the strip.
||Good location near Hard Rock Hotel and McCarran Airport.
|Ballys Casino Resort
||Another big one, Great Location but poorly laid-out casino but with it's location it hard to beat! Great connections to it's sister property Paris. The have one of the best sports books in Las Vegas!
|Barbary Coast Casino
||Name Change "Bill's Gaming Hall & Saloon", now owned by Harrah's. One of the best locations on the Strip! Big rooms, Reasonable prices. They closed the excellent Michael's restaurant, truly one of the best on the Strip!
||The crown jewel of MGM Mirage Resorts. I really don't like the feel of the very busy casino. The high-end restaurants and wonderful art gallery ($12) draws rave reviews. You must stop at the Conservatory for a view of the wonderful floral display (free). Cirque du Soleil's "O" is the featured show, which I hear is quite good.
||30 Years, and still the best! The new Palace tower opened in 1998 and is extraordinary, we stayed here in 9/99. The are currently adding another new tower that is an exact replica of the Palace Tower. The petite suite we stayed in on the 27th floor had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and the Paris. The suite features a five-room bathroom with his/her sink area and toilet area (with bidet in woman's), a dual-head glass surround shower and a two-person whirlpool. The room features a large bed, 30" television, nice desk, over-sized couch and recliner. When staying here, attempt to stay at either the Palace or Augustine Towers and there is a night and day difference compared to the numerous older rooms.
|Circus-Circus Hotel / Casino
||Older, On the north end of the strip, cheap rooms. New tower now open! Newly remodeled lobby and some rooms. The Adventure Dome is a great place to take the kids! We still LOVE gambling at the flea-bag Slot's of Fun casino next door. There is no better place in the world for first timers to learn to gamble, the last remaining $1 tables on the strip.
|Excalibur Hotel & Casino
||With 4,032 rooms, The property could use a little updating, the casino is very dark and the sports book does not feature electronic lines. Good Buffet, Cheap Rooms and right in the middle of all the BIG resorts. Connected to Luxor & Mandalay Bay via skywalk and tram. The world famous Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop is always a great attraction.
||One of the best locations on the Strip, Near Caesars, Venetian, Harrah's. Very large property. The incredible pool and grounds make this a great property for the senior crowd as well. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is featured and is one of the best components of the this classic Las Vegas property.
||Located on the upper levels of Mandalay Bay! They are setting new standards for luxury in Las Vegas. A Viva-Vegas preferred property!
||Great Location, One of most popular properties in Las Vegas. The laid back fun casino make playing here a pleasure. The Harrah's "Total Gold" slot club is one of the best in the industry, with option of using the slot card in any of the their properties in the US. We really like the outdoor music on the weekends and the Piano Bar is rockin' most nights of the week. Look for the new "Toby Keith" themed bar near the monorail station.

|MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
||The biggest resort in the world at 5,034 rooms. Not for the weak hearted, this resort is so big it takes 15-20 minutes to walk from your room to the Valet. The rooms can be little overpriced and not worth the hassle of the crowds and size of the property. The web site features panoramic views of their rooms using Quicktime. The MGM Grand Garden is the premier venue in Las Vegas to view large shows, not a bad seat in the house. Home of the Rainforest Cafe and Studio 54 nightclub.

|The New Frontier
||Is scheduled to close any day now.
|NYNY Hotel & Casino
||Replica of the New York skyline. 2,035 rooms. Has some very unique rooms, no two room dimensions are the same. You can tell the difference between this and a 4 or 5,000 room property. The pool area I was able to find was rather small and really non-event. Now features ESPN Zone, very neat sports themed restaurant, a great place to catch the game and a quick bite, a must see! The Manhatten Express Roller Coaster is a must ride, much better than Stratosphere. Overall a very nice property. Some very good room rates are available from time-to-time.
|Paris - Las Vegas
||Very nice property, a little crowded due to it's small size. When you walk in it sounds like winning! We were impressed with the authenticity of some of the attractions. I have heard very positive comments about the rooms. One of the most successful new properties on the Strip. Some of their most popular restaurants include: Mon Ami Gabi
||Visit this site for a great web cam view of Las Vegas. Just added a new tower, rooms are very homey.
|Riviera Hotel & Casino
||The "adult" casino in Las Vegas, this place needs some updating soon!
||Very inexpensive rooms at the Strip relic, the cheapest buffet on the Strip. They have been pouring money into this property lately. The property features a great Nascar Cafe along with an interesting roller coaster!
|Stardust Resort & Casino
||New Home of Wayne Newton! Huge resort on the North end of the Strip, New web site. The overall property is a little dated and on the less desirable North end of the Strip.
||Tallest observation tower west of the Mississippi. The tower is a must see in the first days of your trip. This give a sense of where everything is. Cost of the tower is $8 and is well worth it. Gambling here is so-so. Never have heard anything about the rooms here. They just completed a new tower addition.
|THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay
||The Hotel with the dumbest name but some of the largest rooms and amenities on the Strip has recently opened adjacent to the Mandalay Bay. The all-suite property feature 1,120 rooms that start at 725-square-feet. The property also features huge spa and workout facilities.
|TI - Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
||Honestly one of the most under-rated properties in Las Vegas. We love the upscale, yet affordable elegance of this property. They recently revamped the classic Pirate Show to make it more "adult" Features the hot Tangerine Lounge & Nightclub with it's Live Burlesque Performances and celebrity spotting at The Social House. Four-Diamond property by AAA. Checkout "Mystere", we hear it's great! ** Photos of room now available! The best option when in town for a convention at the Sands Expo, rooms are half the price of Venetian and located just across the street.
|Tropicana Resort & Casino
||Look for reconstruction to begin in 2007. Great Pool, Great Wedding Chapel, Great Location. On the big Four corners!
||Beautiful property located center-strip, very nicely laid-out property with nice wide aisles and high ceilings. We feel this is the best of latest generation, we love the high-airy feel of the casino. The rooms are some of the largest in Las Vegas. Room rates are on the higher end, but deals can still be had. The attached shopping mall is world-class! Be sure to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, a great attraction.
|Wynn - Las Vegas
||A resort by Steve Wynn, Opened in 2005. Located on the site of the former Desert Inn. The 45-story (the tallest tower in Vegas), is 514-foot tall, arc-shaped and is a copper-colored reflective glass Tower. They feature 2,698 hotel rooms and suites, a 111,000-square-foot casino, 16 restaurants (including six fine dining each with an indoor and outdoor experience), three-acre pool, luxury spa, many brand-name high-end retail stores, The Strip's only 18-hole golf course and an art gallery. This is the new standard on the strip!!! This is property is just stunning, the visual design and layout is simply incredible. Look for an expansion called "The Encore" to open in 2008.
